December 2004 - Present: Owner and
President of Falcon AirLink, Inc. Responsible for the safe operation and
management of company helicopter operations.
April 1998 – Present:
Airline Transport Pilot certified EMS helicopter pilot flying a MBB BO
105CBS4, and Eurocopter EC-135 P1 in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of
Western North Carolina based out of Asheville, NC.
Certified Law Enforcement Officer, sworn with and employed by the
Henderson County Sheriff's department In Hendersonville, NC as Patrol
Deputy and Helicopter Pilot.
June 1995 – April 1998: Director of Standardization and Aviation
Resource Management Specialist in the AH-64A Apache helicopter stationed
at Ft Bragg, NC. Responsible for scheduling, training and
standardization for the battalion’s 54 pilots, and Instructor Pilots.
Aircrew Coordination Instructor. Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Instructor.
Served for six months in Bosnia in support of OPERATION JOINT GUARD.
April 1993 – June 1995: Aviation Resource Management Specialist
and Instructor Pilot in Hanau, Germany, responsible for the development
and implementation of various aircraft and Combat Mission Simulator
training programs to prepare the unit for numerous missions.
May 1986 – April 1993: Aviation Resource Management Specialist in
the AH-64A at Ft. Rucker, AL. Trained approximately 75 pilots to safely
fly and employ the AH-64A helicopter. Trained approximately 35
Instructor Pilot on the methods of instruction required to train other
AH-64A pilots using the aircraft and the Combat Mission Simulator.
Company Instrument Flight Examiner responsible for ensuring all 54
assigned pilots operate within the constraints of Army and FAA
regulations. Served with Task Force 1-112. My responsibility was to
perform day / night reconnaissance missions in a combination of
mountainous and desert terrain in California and Arkansas to evaluate
the OH-58D helicopter. Gained two years of law enforcement experience
with the Enterprise, AL, Police Department as a Reserve Officer.
July 1983 – May 1986: Stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY in an Air
Cavalry Squadron where we performed numerous day/night reconnaissance
missions. Night Vision Goggle Unit Trainer responsible for continuation
training of the unit’s aviators. Director of logistic support for the
maintenance requirements of eight Sikorsky UH-60A Blackhawks, nine Bell
AH-1S Cobras, and 10 Bell OH-58A/C helicopters.
April 1980 – July 1983: Stationed in Finthen, West Germany, where
I flew the OH-58A, UH-1H HUEY, and the AH-1S Cobra.
June 1979 – April 1980: Completed helicopter flight training. I
Graduated in the top 10% of the class.
October 1978 – June 1979: Customer service clerk at the In / Out
Processing and Identification Card Section at Ft. Rucker, AL, while
waiting for the start of my Flight School.
August 1978 – October 1978: Attended Scout Helicopter Mechanic
Course, and awarded the Aircrew members Badge.
